We had a wonderful cruise with Island Packers to the Channel Islands. The Channel Islands consist of five islands – Anacapa, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, San Miguel, and Santa Barbara. Home to endangered species, sensitive habitats and a few shipwrecks, the national park and marine sanctuary provide protection for 1,470 square miles of ocean waters through education, conservation, research and stewardship.
We also had a pod of Long-Beaked Common Dolphins and a couple pods of Bottlenose Dolphins visit our boat during the journey.
