Borrego Springs

There’s something very special about Borrego Springs, CA. Located within the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, there are no stoplights in this small desert town (2020 population of 3,073)… also recognized as an International Dark Sky Community.

I was introduced to the area when my father-in-law started spending the winter season in Borrego Springs. Matt and I have been fortunate to visit many times; we love the area and its beauty.

A favorite… Los Jilberto’s Taco Shop

In addition to free camping on BLM land outside of Borrego Springs, there are state parks and campgrounds available for those of us who prefer to ‘camp’. Our favorite is The Springs RV and Golf Resort.
