We saw the U.S. Navy Blue Angels at a MCAS Cherry Point air show a few years ago and it was great! But, standing at the end of the runway at NAF El Centro watching them practice for a few hours was epic!!
As the diamond formation took off over our heads, the wake turbulence and vortices pinned me against the van’s hood/windshield (where I was sitting) for a few seconds. It’s a feeling I can’t describe and definitely something I won’t forget for a long time.
