After being home for six days we hit the road again and met a few more pack members in Kentucky to do the Bourbon Trail.  Not a bourbon drinker? No worries. A few members of our pack are not bourbon drinkers either. Plan a trip and go! The process of making bourbon and the history of distilled spirits is fascinating… and the rolling hills, farms and country back roads in Kentucky are beautiful!

We toured Angel’s Envy, Beam Made and Buffalo Trace distilleries and visited Rabbit Hole, Michter’s, Evan Williams and Four Roses. While much of the science is the same, master distillers for each brand continue to experiment with ingredients, barrels and aging to create new products for consumers and connoisseurs.
